Alexander Dugin’s “Geopolitics” edited in 1997 illustrates characteristic style of thinking and acting within international relations. Important part of Russian ruling elites certainly have read this book and some of them do have it on their office desks or private libraries. It’s worthy to read Dugin even if he is not in the intellectual mainstream of Russian analytical centers. Don’t pay attention if somebody in Moscow tries to convince You that it’s silly and marginal way of thinking. Zhyrinovsky’s not been treated seriously for 20 years but still presents all this meanings, opinions and national emotions that couldn’t be expressed by many officials. In Poland in the city of my youth time – Częstochowa – some polish fans of Dugin established so called “Center of Geopolitics” and try to educate students in terms of Dugin and his followers in the eastern neighborhood.
